I went for a midnight drive tonight out in the country. It was so peaceful and serene, and the moon was stunning.

I went to Toronto on Thursday and bought my outfit for semi-formal. My dress fits me like a glove, and it's yellow and satin:



Look at the detailing and draping in the bust! So pretty:



I'll be wearing it with these new white dress sandals:



And this little white cardigan:



Throw on a bunch of gold jewellery, a smokey eye, and big, crazy curls, and I'm good to go! I can't wait. I'm also wearing it to the Italian wedding on Saturday! I cannot wait for that.

So, my hair has been this bright, firetruck red for a couple of years now:



However, I've recently been needing to go a little bit more of a natural red, not orange so much as auburn. I'm probably going to do it in the next couple of weeks. I love the colour of this girl's hair:



And I also love the colour of Isla Fisher's hair. So much.

Today, Jasmine and I went out for paninis, gelato, and a drive in the country near our houses. It was so beautiful, peaceful and serene, and it was exactly what I needed. I'm going to be spending a lot more time out there, away from the hustle and bustle. I see hikes, picnics, and long bikerides/walks/drives in my future.



And, surprise surprise, I bought another floral skirt. This one's special, I swear!

So I'm in love with Benefit Cosmetics. I have the benetint lip stain and it's incredible. I like the cheeky labels and whatnot and I need new cosmetics. It would cost a bundle, though, and I'm still looking for jobs. Oh well, for now I can dream...

The name is cheeky, and I really need make up remover.

This dandelion blush is really pretty. Plus I need new blush. Plus it gives instant radiance, which is important because no matter how much time I spend outside, being outdoorsy, I still look like a chalk-white computer nerd.

This is advertised as industrial-strength concealer. Hallelujah.

Apparently this eye cream actually fades dark circles... A concept which astounds me.

This ooh la life is "like a girdle for your eyes!" which could only help with my circles...
